Clearly we need to be teaching this alternative theory of forgetting. All humans are born with all knowledge, even of future events, and simply forget them. This explains psychics who haven't totally "forgotten." It also explains deja vu.

Sounds plausible to me. I'll sign on as an early adopter.

Let me start by introducing the evidence for the current theory of forgetting:

I'm sorry, I'm not at all convinced!

You are indeed right. No scientists even acknowledges it is a theory!

Anybody seen this? (I currently have no audio on my computer right
now, so it's a little more difficult to determine if it's rigged or not.)

Well done! You checked your sources. Would that everyone who posted stuff on the internet did that.

One of the senior managers at my work recently emailed "all staff" with a warning about mobile phones, with an example that phones can "cook an egg, so imagine what its doing to your brain".

Took my less than 30 seconds to Google the concept, get on to Snopes, and debunk it.

I emailed the manager in question. They haven't retracted the email, nor admitted that its a load of bunk. And this is now the 2nd time they've done something like this, and I put them on to Snopes last time (also without securing a retraction).

Yeah this came up on a local forum I watch and was swiftly debunked.
When Science was in its crib, Religion tried to strangle it. When Science was in its infancy, Religion tried to abuse it. Now that Science is grown up, Religion wants to be in its good graces.

Theology is philosophy/ethics for people who already know what conclusion they want to come to.
